Camp Iroquois, located on Keuka Lake in New York's famous Finger Lakes Region, serves disadvantaged children from every part of New York State -- using sports instruction and other meaningful group activities to create a positive environment for physical and social development.
Camp Iroquois provides an extraordinary experience for New York State youth, aged 9-12 years old. Since 1987, the camp program has helped build self-esteem and reinforce positive behavior in over 7000 children from all around New York state.
The New York State Sheriffs' Association and its generous donors have invested an impressive amount of resources to improve and expand the capacity of the camp in recent years. In 2008, more than 750 youths from 54 counties were invited by their local sheriffs to live and learn at Camp Iroquois. 2009 promises to be another record-breaking year.
